Anna Nicole Smith is to take on aging rock star Ozzy Osborne and his family in the US reality show stakes. The former Playboy playmate is all set to debut in her own show on cable television’s E! Networks in August. Ozzy's programme, The Osbornes, has been a hit since it first aired on MTV earlier this year, appealing to viewers eager for an inside glimpse of the everyday life of celebs.

E! Networks president Mindy Herman says the new programme will give viewers an inside look at the extraordinary life of the 34-year-old former model. The new venture comes in the wake of the former Guess Jeans model’s recent $88 million win in a court battle against the son of her late husband, 90-year-old J Howard Marshall, over her claim on half the late Texas oil tycoon’s considerable fortune.

The weekly show will be taped in and around Anna Nicole’s home in Los Angeles and will feature her 16-year-old son Daniel along with her purple- haired assistant Kim, who sports a tattoo of Smith on his upper arm.

“My life is a rollercoaster,” Anna Nicole said in an appearance on CNN’s Larry King Live on Wednesday night. “People won’t be able to stop watching once they tune in.”

The former model added that she expected J Howard’s son, Pierce Marshall, to file an appeal against the judgement she won in March, but she vowed to “fight to the end” for the money claiming it was what her husband would have wanted.
