Just one day after she was spotted kissing and canoodling with Pearl Harbor actor Ben Affleck at her 32nd birthday party, pop diva Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from her husband of nine months, Cris Judd. J Lo met 29-year-old backing dancer Cris while working on a music video and married him in a hush-hush LA ceremony just a few months after breaking off her relationship with former flame rapper Sean “P Diddy” Combs. The court documents cited “irreconcilable differences” for the split. According to the couple’s respective lawyers, the breakup was “extremely amicable”.
Although there were early rumors that the demise of Cris and Jen’s relationship may have had something to do with her ex, Sean Combs, in recent weeks the Latin lovely has been spotted out and about Ben Affleck. And it was with the Shakespeare In Love star that Jen celebrated her birthday. Apparently, he took her along to New York’s chic Park Eatery for what was supposed to be a quiet lunch. When they arrived, however, the birthday girl discovered a surprise party had been arranged, bringing together her family and close friends. In the course of the celebrations – which included a rendition of Happy Birthday, a birthday cake – the pair were openly affectionate towards each other.
