Westlife singer Bryan McFadden and wife Kerry Katona are expecting their second child, the couple have announced, and this time they are hoping for a boy.
“I want him to play soccer for Ireland,” said Bryan, adding: “we can’t wait for our new addition.”
In an added twist, the couple say the baby was conceived in the same room as their first child Molly, who was born last September. “It’s amazing but it’s true,” says Bryan. “Let that be a warning to any couple staying in room 308 at London’s Chelsea Conrad Hotel.”
The 22-year-old Westlife singer how the couple found out the good news. “A month ago she started feeling sick,” says Bryan. “We got a home pregnancy test and when Kerry came out of the bathroom smiling we screamed and hugged each other. It was the best feeling – just like when we knew we were going to have Molly.”
Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry, who married Bryan in January this year, is due to give birth in February.
