Though seven stars are trapped on an Australian jungle isle competing in ITV’s celebrity Survivor, it seems the struggle against the elements is bringing at least two of the famous contestants a little closer together.

On Thursday’s edition of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, ‘It’ girl Tara Palmer-Tompkinson fessed up that she fancies her fellow survivor, pop star Darren Day, saying, “You’re not bad to look at.”

The revelation came when, after tension between the pair, Tara admitted: “I’ll tell you why I am very uptight. It’s because I think you are so sexy.” The handsome 34-year-old responded: “Tara, can I ask you something? Why didn’t you tell me that four years ago?”.

Citing his then-engagement as one reason behind the lack of sparks in the past, Tara added: “There is an obvious attraction between us.”

But the potential romance still comes with a hitch – Darren’s girlfriend of nine months, dancer Adele Vellacott. However, the 22-year-old former model insists she’s not the slightest bit concerned about the new development.

“I don’t know what the fuss is about,” she says. “Darren and I trust each other 100 per cent and what people are seeing is just his fun and loving personality… I’m happy and very comfortable to see Darren being kind and supportive.”
