The Beckhams, probably the UK’s most tattooed celebrity couple, are about to add to their collection: according to reports, Victoria will visit renowned tattoo artist Louis Mollow this week to have a fourth star inked onto her back, to celebrate the birth of baby Romeo.
Posh, who once admitted to not liking tattoos, already has three stars on her lower back. These were done in 1999 and represent David, herself and three-year-old son Brooklyn.
Victoria’s hubby, David, who famously has the name Brooklyn tattooed onto his back, has so far not made it clear whether he is going to have a Romeo one done. The England captain already has a string of tattoos including the name Victoria in Indian script on the inside of his forearm and the Roman numeral VII – from his number seven football shirt – on the other arm.
Beck’s biggest tattoo, however, is a foot high human figure with arms outstretched and head bowed, situated between his shoulder blades. Controversy surrounded the image when David had it done two years ago. “It's not a crucified figure, there's no religious connection - it's a guardian angel,” said the Manchester United star at the time. “The guardian angel can also mean 'free spirit' which was an idea I liked.”
