Is there any truth to the rumours you are dating “It” girl Lady Victoria Hervey?
"No – I met Victoria doing Driven. I was doing some work with Kelly Hopper, who’s an interior designer, and she was there as well, and I was just talking to her and the press take all these pictures like we’re having a date. It’s amazing, I haven’t really had any bad press until that. I see her for two days, then boom!
Did you get to keep the Scott Henshall cashmere hotpants you wore on the catwalk during London fashion week?
No, I didn’t unfortunately. I was a bit nervous, actually, because you never know what the press would say… There was a lot of speculation about my sexuality and I thought, “Hotpants, I can see the headlines now.” But the coverage was very positive in the end.
What anti spot cream and hair products did you use on Big Brother?
It’s a moisturizer, it’s called Clean And Clear Oil Free Dual Action Moisturizer, and my hair product was called American Crew.
If you were reincarnated as an animal what would it be and why?
I daresay I could give an interesting animal but I think I’d like to be a really big bird like a condor that could fly around seeing what everyone was doing.
Would you consider going on Celebrity Big Brother again?
I’ve been telling people I wouldn’t – but I can’t imagine they’ll be in there for any time, people have told me Graham Norton and Mel B are going to be in there. I think I would’ve been far happier in Big Brother 2 because the people were a little bit different and I would’ve got on better with everyone."
What are you doing for the rest of the day?
I suppose I want to get back to the gym again but I’m a bit nervous everyone’s going to be, “Oh look at Alex Sibley, he’s really struggling”. That’s the thing I really hate about the gym. I’m struggling with three weights while the big guys are hurrying you along.
What’s the best party you’ve been to since leaving the house?
The TV Quick Awards was nice because my mum came along, and the Yell Awards was brilliant, I was looked after especially by Martina McCutcheon who’s ever so sweet. I’d had a lot to drink and she came and grabbed me, put me on the table and said, “Right, drink this!” and was giving me water all evening. But it was really great – it was really nice she was looking after me – she was interested because her mother lives local to me as well and she wanted to hear about the area. And plus a lot of people had a lot of advice for me – the funny thing is if someone tells you to stay away from somebody, then that person will probably be telling you to stay away from them later! There’s a lot of interesting people – it’s really bizarre getting to meet some of these people like Lulu and Guy Ritchie’s mum, who I interviewed for Driven. And it’s strange because you know a bit about them but they know a lot about you! It’s amazing how many people tuned into Big Brother.
