TV presenter Ulrika Jonsson’s new book Honest has already hit the headlines, despite not yet hitting the shelves. The tell-all autobiography not only chronicles her rise to fame from weather girl to one of TV’s most popular celebrities – it also brings the intimate details of her affair with England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson to light.

Ulrika recently explained why she decided to publish the story of her relationship with 54-year-old Sven, which was made public in April, 2002. Calling her decision to write about the affair “cathartic and humiliating”, she says: “I started writing it for personal reasons but it became a public interest and I continued because of that.”

Sven’s girlfriend of three years, lawyer Nancy Dell’Olio, has stood by him during the saga, and made a splash of her own last week as she arrived on his arm to a 10 Downing Street party in a fiery red suit with a plunging neckline. The striking brunette has described the England coach as “her inspiration”, and has spoken of her feelings for him. “He’s a very gentle man,” she has said. “I could never betray him.”
