Some of the biggest names in British showbiz have chosen their favourite body parts to be set in casts for a charity auction.
Members of the public will be able to get their hands on Jude Law’s sculpted six pack, Sadie Frost’s enviable jaw line, Denise Van Outen’s chiselled knees, Meg Matthew’s curvaceous bust and Atomic Kitten Jenny Frost’s shapely bottom by bidding in the highly original initiative aimed at raising money for Breast Cancer Care.
Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox, who had her hand cast in the V-sign admits her contribution may not be as revealing as some of the other items set to go under the hammer online at qxl.com, but is determined to make a hard sell: “You can use it as a peace sign or turn it round if you have any rude guests,” she says. “It’s also handy at work and in the car,” she adds, failing to elaborate exactly how, but reminding us that it’s “for a great cause”.
All the casts are finished in bronze or silver and fans will be able to place their bids until 10am this Friday. Since bidding opened last night, Meg’s best assets have been the clear favourite with potential buyers.
