Our competition to find Britain’s Most Elegant Woman saw us inundated with votes, both by post and here on the website, from readers keen to have their say. We received more than 11,000 responses, and the results are now in.
Of the 25 women we shortlisted for this glamorous poll, by far the most popular choices were the winner Catherine Zeta-Jones and runner-up Lady Helen Taylor, who between them attracted more than a third of the total vote. Closely grouped behind them were Victoria Beckham, Kate Winslet and Yasmin Le Bon.
