Zoe Ball has admitted that her relationship with DJ Norman Cook is over and she is now involved with someone else.
The radio presenter said that she split up with her husband, better known as Fatboy Slim, in December and that a relationship with DJ Daniel Peppe has since developed. Zoe and Norman have been married for four years and their relationship was always thought to be very strong.
The 32-year-old has asked the media to respect her family's privacy so that they can deal with the problems they are facing. "I'm trying very hard to conduct my personal life away from the eyes of the press, but this is proving impossible.
"There were problems in our marriage that had arisen and I subsequently met someone else – I told Norman in December that this was the case. He didn't want to know the name or any other details," said Zoe in a statement.
Her comments come as a surprise after yesterday's remarks made by Norman, which seemed to indicate a reconciliation was on the cards. "I still love her," he said. "If you love someone you'll forgive them. I've spoken to her and she is genuinely remorseful. I want it to work out… I still maintain we are the perfect couple."
