A Valentine's Day wedding between singer-actress Jennifer Lopez and her Oscar-winning fiancé Ben Affleck had been rumoured for months, but the romantic date has now come and gone with no word of nuptials. As speculation about when exactly high-profile couple will tie the knot hots up, the Daredevil actor has hinted that the happy day might be just around the corner.
Asked about his wedding plans on the US programme Good Morning America, Ben confirmed that a summertime ceremony was "a safe bet".
The star also revealed that he'll finish up two projects he has in the pipeline before taking some time off to be with his busy girlfriend. "Jen will work the second half of the year and I'll follow her around and be at home, be a Mr Mom," he says, "except we don't have kids."
The celebrity pair are free to marry now that Jennifer's divorce from her second husband, dancer-choreographer Cris Judd, has been finalised. The eight-month marriage fell apart in June, 2002, but came to an official end – with a reported financial settlement of about $9.6 million for Cris – just last month.
