Cris Judd gained fame during his brief stint as the husband of superstar Jennifer Lopez, but now he's earned a title other than "J Lo's ex". The choreographer has been named "King of the Jungle" after winning the US version of reality TV programme I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.
The dancer came out on top in the gruelling Survivor-esque show in an Australian rainforest, trouncing competition from male supermodel Tyson Beckford, Rod Stewart's former wife Alana, and Olympic champion Bruce Jenner.
Cris apparently won over the hearts of both fellow competitors and the American public as he braved the elements, surviving heavy rains, myriad mosquito bites and a bump on the head from a falling branch. The star also showed his softer side, breaking down at one point over the demise of his high-profile marriage. "I thought I would be over it by now, but I'm not," he said. "It's so hard, it's so hard."
The $500,000 prize, which Cris scooped after edging out two other finalists – fashion critic Melissa Rivers, daughter of comedienne Joan, and shock jock Howard Stern's sidekick Stuttering John – will be donated to the children's charity Make-A-Wish Foundation.
