Liz Hurley and her dashing beau Arun Nayar fuelled rumours of wedding plans when they made their first public appearance together in New York. Liz was sporting a beautiful diamond ring on the little finger of her left hand at the charity event in the Big Apple's Waldorf-Astoria hotel.
Wearing an off-white Ralph Laurent gown, she looked every inch the woman in love as she posed for pictures with Arun.
The Indian millionaire recently filed for divorce from his wife, model Valentina Pedroni. And his parents Gunar and Vinod gave their blessing to the couple during their recent visit to Bombay.
It is believed the textile heir popped the question following the trip, though he and Liz are said to be waiting for his divorce to be finalised before making their engagement official.
"Liz is happier than she has been for ages and really feels that she and Arun are meant to be together," said a friend of the actress. It has been a good year for the 37-year-old, who recently signed a £6-million modelling deal with Estee Lauder. She has also recently purchased a £3-million home in the Cotswolds.
