Supermodel Kate Moss was one of the celebrity guests at an exclusive "White Tea and Diamonds" party at Claridge's in London this week. The fashion icon enjoyed a cuppa while turning her diamond-spotting skills to the task of earning a take-away gem of her own.
The cover girl sipped tea with her mum and some famous friends, including Meg Matthews, Patsy Palmer and Atomic Kitten's Jenny Frost, at the bash, which was hosted by The Tea Council.
And as Kate and company enjoyed champagne, canapes, and specially imported Chinese white tea, they were also put to an unusual test, to see if they could discern false diamonds from the real thing.
The fashion icon was the winner. And her prize? A real diamond, of course, with jewellery designer Stephen Webster providing a special sketch on how Kate could put the diamond to stylish use. However, no-one went home empty handed, as Stephen created special tea-inspired pieces, worth over £1,000 each, for the guests.
