Just a month after giving birth to her second child, Carys, Oscar-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has reemerged onto the celebrity circuit, helping husband Michael Douglas introduce his latest film, The In-Laws.
The Hollywood couple even brought their newborn with them – in a photograph, that is. As he and his movie star wife arrived at the Los Angeles cinema, proud papa Michael showed off a large black and white shot of baby Carys.
It's been a busy few days for the pair, who just hosted a celebrity charity weekend in Las Vegas. However, the centrepiece of the three-day event – a golf tournament attended by the likes of Sylvester Stallone and Clint Eastwood – was nearly overshadowed by another of the Douglases' fundraising activities.
In an auction hosted by the new parents on Saturday, two anonymous couples enthusiastically competed for an unusual lot: a weekend with Catherine and Michael at their luxury Bermuda estate. After the persistent pairs pushed the price up to £80,000, the Douglases announced that they'd accept both bids, earning a whopping £160,000 for the Motion Picture And Television Fund.
