Jennifer Lopez has been speaking candidly about the rocky road she has travelled to find happiness with fiancé Ben Affleck. The pair have become one of America's favourite couples, but Jen is also well-known for the trail of broken relationships that has gone before.
In a revealing interview the singer admits that one-time lover Sean Combs used to cheat on her. And the 32-year-old also says she was still getting over her marriage to waiter Ojani Noa when she began the turbulent romance. "It was the first time I was with someone who wasn't faithful," she said. "After my divorce I wasn't trying to be exclusive with anybody, but Puff came at me hard…
"He said he looked at me and fell in love and made me love him too. We started a very tumultuous affair… I was crying, crazy, going nuts. It really sent my whole life into a tailspin."
Having finally broken up with Combs, Jennifer married dancer Cris Judd almost immediately. That relationship also failed, however, and she admits that hurting Cris is the biggest regret of her life.
"Coming out of a torrid relationship, I meet this sweet person who's so refreshing. But marriage is not just about love… I loved Cris and I still love him – he's one of the best people. It wasn't an easy thing to walk away from, but we didn't have what it takes to make a marriage work. Cris knows the last thing I ever wanted in this world was to hurt him. If I have one regret in my life, it would be that."
Happily Cris seems to be going from strength to strength with his own life, having recently signed up to choreograph Britney Spears' new tour. Jennifer, meanwhile, has found happiness with hunky Ben Affleck.
