Actress Patsy Kensit has spoken out about her struggles with weight gain as she helps launch a new campaign to help new mothers get into shape.
The 34-year-old mum, who showed off her svelte frame in films such as Lethal Weapon 2 and Angels And Insects, says she's satisfied with the fuller figure she's sported since having her two sons. "I'm very happy with how I look and I am very happy with my life," she remarked, speaking at the launch of the Fit Mothers exercise and nutrition project.
And Patsy is the perfect spokeswoman for the new campaign, which will hold one-off classes this summer at local LA Fitness gyms. "As a mother-of -two I can directly relate to the highs and lows of motherhood," said Patsy. "I know how hard it is for new mothers to adapt to their changing lifestyle and get back into shape after having a baby."
Meanwhile, another English beauty talking about her changing silhouette is former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell. After shedding her voluptuous Ginger Spice look in favour of a streamlined, muscular figure two years ago, Geri – who became famed for her rigorous exercise regime and struggles with eating disorders – has regained her healthy curves.
"I've gained weight but I feel really healthy," she says, adding: "I don't want to be back abusing myself with food and exercise. So I eat three meals a day plus two snacks."
