Former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson has signalled the end of her romance with Kid Rock.
Appearing at a promotional event for PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals) last week, Pamela wasn't wearing her engagement ring. When asked whether her relationship with the rock wildman was over, the 35-year-old said, "The word that best describes me now is 'free'. That's all I will say. I'm a mom and that's where my life is at."
Rumours that the couple had split first surfaced two weeks ago, when she attended a party at the Playboy Mansion without her fiancé.
The two first began seeing each other in 2001 after meeting at an Aretha Franklin tribute concert in New York. She had previously divorced Motley Crew drummer Tommy Lee, with whom she has two children, seven-year-old Brandon and Dylan, who's 5. After meeting Kid Rock, whose real name is Bob Ritchie, Pammy said she wanted to "create a new family with Bob and his son".
It now seems those hopes have been scuppered, however, and the original "Baywatch babe" is putting her beach babies first.
