David Beckham and his wife Victoria continue to make waves in Italy, Malaysia and Vietnam, as their global publicity drive goes from strength to strength.The couple appear in a raunchy photoshoot for a sports supplement included in next month's Italian publication L'Uomo Vogue, the men's version of the fashion bible Vogue. A series of steamy pictures feature the pair in provocative poses.
The pics were taken by renowned New York snapper Steven Klein, and are being heralded as the most risqué pictures of the couple to date. "These are the sexiest the Beckhams have ever done, and will shock a lot of fans," said one friend.
Becks has also been hitting the headlines in the Far East, where he is continuing his publicity tour. The England skipper met an entire team of Number 7s when he made an appearance in Malaysia, and was greeted by a local five-a-side squad all sporting Beckham jerseys.
The soccer ace, who has just signed for Spanish superclub Real Madrid, then took the opportunity to show off his skills. He dribbled the ball expertly around a row of oil cans, to the delight of 5,000 fans who had come to see him.
His visit also left a smile on the face of the chauffeur who took him to the airport afterwards. Because the 28-year-old star gave him a jaw-dropping tip of £2,000 – more than his annual salary.
But that's small change to David who's set to earn £10 million from the three-nation tour. After leaving Kuala Lumpur, he headed on to Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam, where he was to give a masterclass to soccer-mad locals.
