David Beckham concluded his tour of the Far East on Wednesday by declaring his love for his wife in front of 13,000 fans.
The footie ace was making an appearance at a stadium in Vietnam as part of his efforts to raise his global profile. And when the iconic athlete was asked who he would consider his idol, he answered: "Victoria - she's my wife and the mother of my two beautiful kids."
Later in the day he jetted on to Thailand, where he received another rapturous reception from Beckham-mad youngsters. After giving a demonstration of the soccer skills which Real Madrid have agreed to pay £25 million for, the 28-year-old answered some more questions about his beloved wife.
David was asked about how much influence the former Spice Girl has over his legendary fashion sense. "I'll get ready for a night out and I'll ask Victoria what my hair looks like and what my outfit is like because I value her opinions," he said candidly. "She has a lot to do with how I look and what I wear. But the final decision is down to me. So the pony tail is my idea and the sarong was my idea. I think everyone who's married realises that their wives do have a lot of influence in everything they do."
The England skipper returns home on Thursday to be reunited with his wife, who flew home two days earlier.
