One day after Beckham mania hit the laid-back Spanish city of Madrid, the pair in the eye of the media storm, David and Victoria Beckham, have headed back to the UK.
Before taking to the skies in their private jet, however, the celebrity couple took time to do a bit of househunting and even picked up a new pet.
After Wednesday's press conference for David's Real Madrid signing, the couple dodged most of the press by slipping out of their hotel via the garage as staff loaded up a decoy car parked out front with Prada luggage and Real Madrid shopping bags.
Having escaped the paparazzi, David and Victoria's first stop was the exclusive La Moraleja suburb, where they spent no more than a few minutes checking out a modest mansion located a bit too close to a bus stop. The pair perused the next estate – a 10,000 metre-square home with ten bathrooms, two heated swimming pools and a nuclear shelter – for significantly longer, but seemed to be unimpressed by the clear view of the home from the nearby road.
Posh and Becks seem to be settling into their new life, however, and even may have added a new member to the family. Just minutes after footballer David's monumental signing, as he and Victoria made their way out of the auditorium, a young woman asked the former Spice Girl if she liked animals. After responding with a "yes", the brunette pop singer received a surprising gift from the fan – a white kitten named "Blanquito".
There's no confirmation on whether the furry creature accompanied the couple back to the UK – at least one Spanish news programme reports that little Blanquito is still in the Spanish capital.
