Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is taking a few days off work to recover after a van knocked him off his famous moped. Fortunately, the Naked Chef was wearing his helmet at the time, so he wasn't hurt too badly.
"I got knocked off my scooter by some idiot in a white van, who didn't indicate and was driving a little bit crazy," said the cockney cook. "When I fell off I put my tooth through my lip, which hurt, but luckily that's all that happened."
The entire incident was caught on film, because Jamie had a camera attached to his scooter to record footage for his show. "When I finally got the bike off the road I checked out the camera - it was the funniest thing I have ever seen," he revealed. "When I got knocked off you could see all my legs going through shock - it looked well funny."
Jamie has decided to take some time off to take his wife and kids on holiday, but he will be returning to our screens before too long.
