Victoria Beckham has decided to spice up her upcoming solo album by enlisting the help of her footballer husband David.
A song from the 29-year-old singer's soon-to-be released disc will feature David telling his pop star spouse he loves her in a voicemail message. "The track is all about waiting for a call from a loved one," says producer Damon Dash, "and obviously David was the only one for Victoria to sing about."
While his wife is the pop star in the family, David has been dubbed the world's greatest pop culture icon in a new survey by music channel VH1. The England captain pipped runner-up Madonna and third placer Elvis Presley to number one in the poll. Victoria was 31 spots behind her handsome hubby, winning a place as part of the Spice Girls.
Posh has long been a fan of another cultural icon, actress Audrey Hepburn, to whom she devoted an entire bathroom at her "Beckingham Palace estate". And the Breakfast At Tiffany star's son Sean has revealed that David once bought a collection of his mother's letters for Victoria. "I'm completely obsessed with her," Mrs Beckham once admitted.
