Paris Hilton will soon be leaving the glamorous nitespots of New York and Los Angeles behind, as she heads for the countryside to make a new series of The Simple Life.
Her old pal Nicole Richie will be accompanying her once again for a new adventure in rural America. In the last series the two It-girls struggled to get to grips with such down-home tasks as milking cows, plucking chickens and washing trucks.
At one point the Hilton hotel heiress was fired, after sneaking off for a quick dip in her boss's hot-tub. But this time around the not-so dynamic duo will be hitting a series of country homes, as the new series takes them on a road trip around rural America.
Production on the show begins in March, and Fox TV is already interviewing families to play host to the girls. "It'll be interesting to see the country through their eyes," said TV executive Mike Darnell. "Maybe Paris will visit a Wal-Mart. I'm kind of hoping they'll stop at a Hilton."
