David and Victoria Beckham are known for their extravagance, and the celebrity couple did not disappoint when it came to their son Brooklyn's landmark fifth birthday.
According to reports, David jetted back into Britain from a match in Germany to join wife Posh in throwing a spectacular party for their elder son. The pair spent about £10,000 on the tot's bash, which was attended by brother Romeo and a few young pals.The birthday celebrations, held in a huge marquee erected at the England captain's Sawbridgeworth mansion, were held a week early, so that devoted dad Becks could attend on his day off.
And as her eldest son rings in a new year, Victoria is ringing in radically different look. The 29-year-old pop singer spent £1,300 going blonde by having highlights and Spanish hair extensions at a North London salon. "We have been styling Victoria's hair for three years and she has never had such a transformation," said salon owner Angelo Georghiou.
Two stylists worked for five hours on the new 'do, which Posh kept firmly under wraps, hiding her locks under a camouflage baseball cap as she left the establishment.
