Kylie Minogue left her fans in little doubt that she is a Red Blooded Woman when she sang her latest hit single at the Echo Awards in Germany. The Aussie songstress stole the show with a raunchy performance at the Berlin prizegiving, which was attended by some 4,000 music fans.

Also making a memorable impression was US diva Anastacia, who gave her first European show since having surgery for cancer a year ago. The singer was clearly back on top form when she gave a rendition of her latest offering Heavy On My Heart. And Pink likewise wowed the crowd when she landed on stage in a giant bird cage.

The annual event's impressive bill of international stars was rounded out by Enrique Iglesias, The Darkness and Phil Collins. But it was Britain's Robbie Williams who won the award for best international male, beating Justin Timberlake, Seal and Eros Ramazzotti to the prize.

The singer couldn't attend the event in person, but he sent a video message in which he jokingly referred to his troubles breaking the US market. "Thank you Germany for making me truly an international pop star," declared the 30-year-old with a grin.

Not everything went according to plan, however, because there was nearly a "wardrobe malfunction" to rival Janet Jackson's Super Bowl controversy. Glamorous presenter Guelcan Karahanci was left red-faced when her tight-fitting dress tore and she needed help to keep it on. "I really didn't plan this – honest," she said with embarrassment.
