At least two striking young celebrities were having a swell time on Monday night as the Charles Saatchi gallery marked its first anniversary with a glittering party – heavily pregnant stars Sara Cox and Sophie Ellis Bextor.
Radio DJ Sara, who is expecting a baby early this summer, chose a colourful pink dress and matching rose-coloured flat shoes for the event. Her sunny look despite the chilly London weather might have been because she's just returned from a Brazilian getaway with hubby Jon Carter.
Meanwhile, seven months' pregnant Sophie Ellis Bextor was also on the scene, mingling with stars such as Love, Actually's Bill Nighy, TV host Denise Van Outen and designer Alexander McQueen.
The pop star was just as fashionable as she took a less vibrant approach than Sara, disguising her growing bump in an elegant black dress.
Earlier this month the 22-year-old was offering style advice to trendy mums-to-be. "Invest in a good pair of heels," she said. "Find the right ones and you can wear them all day - you won't be in agony even if you're pregnant."
