"We're absolutely fine" says Victoria Beckham

As her husband David flew back to Madrid, Victoria Beckham stayed on in the Alps this week with the couple's two children and was obviously determined to show the world that her marriage is not on the rocks. The former Spice Girl had flown out to Courcheval, as reports that her husband had cheated on her broke in the press.

With newspapers carrying stories of tears, rows and a slap in the face for the hunky blond soccer ace, the couple emerged smiling and hand-in-hand from their rented chalet in the upmarket ski resort on Wednesday morning. After a kiss on the lips, David set off for the airport while Victoria headed for the slopes with sons Brooklyn, five, and Romeo, 19 months.

Before doing so, however, Posh reportedly spoke out about the current state of the couple's relationship. Asked whether they had made up, she replied: "There's nothing to make up over. We're absolutely fine."

Clearly determined to put a positive spin on the situation, she added, "The last two days with David have been really good. We have had a really good time. Everything is going great."

Then, dressed in a trendy ski jacket bought locally and a pair of boarding pants she picked up on a trip to Madrid, the mother of two set off for some fun on the slopes. In between messing around in the snow with her boys, Victoria also took a snowboarding lesson, hitting the slopes again later in the afternoon on skis.
