Victoria Beckham gave a very public show of support for her husband on Sunday, after a second woman claimed to have had an affair with the football star. The former Spice Girl flew to Madrid to cheer for the handsome athlete as he and his team-mates did battle with Atletico Osasuna in the Spanish capital.

The singer was accompanied by their two sons, Brooklyn and Romeo, and David's mother Sandra. She also made a point of waving back to the many fans who turned around to see her when she took her seat in the majestic Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

David and Victoria are determined to maintain a united front after model Sarah Marbeck alleged she had a two-year affair with the England skipper. Her allegations came hot on the heels of similar claims made by the couple's former assistant Rebecca Loos.

The Beckhams, who have reportedly flown back to Britain together, are expected to make a full statement refuting the claims. It has also been rumoured that they will give an in-depth television interview in a bid to draw a line under the matter.
