Nicky Hilton has been spotted enjoying some Manhattan quality time with her new husband. The hotel heiress was photographed strolling through the Big Apple with Todd Meister, who she married at the weekend.
It was the first time the enamoured pair have been seen since they made their vows in Las Vegas in the early hours of Sunday morning. And despite the fact that their nuptials took many by surprise, the couple is adamant the decision was not taken lightly. "This is a real, serious, meaningful, loving relationship," said Nicky's representative Elliot Mintz. "The wedding was treated with great sobriety and seriousness."
Todd is a longtime friend of the Hilton family, and the rest of the clan have been quick to show their support for the union. "I love Todd," declared big sister Paris. "He and Nicky have been best friends forever and have always talked about doing this."
The girls' parents were even more enthusiastic in their praise for the 33-year-old financier: "We really, really love Todd," announced their mum Kathy. "He's the greatest, funniest, sharpest guy you've ever met."
