Wrapped up against the autumn chill, Jessie Wallace's baby Tallulah Lilac made her first official outing on Tuesday in the arms of her paternal grandmother, Barbara.

Although the EastEnders star had first introduced her new daughter last week, she had been reluctant to reveal Talullah's face to photographers. "They just want to make sure her delicate little eyes are protected from camera flashes," explained an insider.

This time, however, Jessie - who was the antithesis of her onscreen character in casual jeans and a smart cream and black coat - was happy to show her off as the family left their home in east London.

The 33-year-old soap actress, who is engaged to Tallulah's dad, trainee firefighter Dave Morgan, 29, gave birth to her daughter at the exclusive Portland Hospital in Central London last Tuesday.

Tallulah, who is apparently named after a character in Jessie's favourite film, Bugsy Malone, - was born at the exclusive Portland Hospital in Central London last Tuesday.
