The night of the Emmys may have belonged to the Lost cast and some desperate housewives, but Heidi Klum and Jennifer Garner certainly did their best to steal the show. Both celebrities were dazzling with a maternal glow as they faced the cameras at the glitzy awards do.
Fresh from giving birth, the German supermodel looked radiant in a floral empire-waisted gown. Just six days after Henry Günther Ademola Dashtu Samuel made his debut into the world, mum Heidi was also making her grand entrance in Dior.
The celeb was more than willing to let on the secret of her svelte physique. "I have, like, a very fluffy, forgiving dress on today, nothing tight," she confided.
Meanwhile, an expectant Jennifer was also doing her best not to be outdone in the 'hot mama' fashion stakes. As special agent Sydney Bristow in Alias, the actress is used to wearing outrageous, form-fitting black ensembles.
For the Emmys however, Jennifer - who is expecting her first child with husband Ben Affleck in December - had gone for a rather more demure look. The star was carrying her bump with pride in a black strapless dress, which found favour with style pundits. Heidi's sparkling form was, no doubt, due to the happiness of having providing daughter Leni with a new sibling.
Her husband pop singer Seal has revealed that the one-year-old had been eagerly awaiting the new arrival. "She pointed to Heidi's stomach every morning saying the words 'baby, baby," he enthused. And, when their son was born little Leni was one of the first to shower him with kisses.
