For most people living in the British capital, Monday evening means staying home and getting an early night. London's biggest stars obviously aren't too worried about their beauty sleep, though, as not a few of them decided to kick the week off by donning their glad rags and heading out for a night of fun.

Ralph Fiennes was enjoying a glass or two of bubbly with his showbiz friends after he scooped the best actor gong at the Evening Standard Awards. And the renowned actor was given extra reason to smile after his flick, The Constant Gardener, also got the nod in the best film category. His triumph came hot on the heels of his co-star, Rachel Weisz, finding victory at the Screen Actors Guild awards.

Natasha Richardson, who was dazzling in a tailored white trouser suit, was among the first to congratulate her fellow Brit. And the 42-year-old was likewise basking in glory after she was named best actress for her role as a psychiatrist's wife in the complex drama Asylum.

It wasn't just silver screen stars who were hitting the town on Monday night, though, as party organiser Meg Matthews and Jemma Kidd were whooping it up at the Dorchester Hotel. The two blondes were among celebs clinking glasses and enjoying the hospitality at a party to showcase the world's most prestigious holiday resorts.

Not far away in The Paris Club, meanwhile, Camilla Fayed and Lee Ryan were bringing a touch of country to the British capital. Mohamed Al-Fayed's ubiquitous daughter met up with the former Blue singer for a bash to celebrate the new Johnny Cash biopic Walk The Line.
