Paris Hilton's high-profile romance with shipping heir Stavros Niarchos appears to have hit troubled waters after reports surfaced that the pair had split. The Simple Life star's spokesman has added weight to the rumours currently sweeping through the Tinseltown press by refusing to deny the story.
"It is not my policy to comment on my client's private life," said the blonde bombshell's representative Elliot Mintz. "But I would not offer a denial."
News of the break-up comes two weeks after the ubiquitous starlet staged a lavish party at her Hollywood home to mark her beau's 21st birthday. Milla Jovovich and Courtney Love were both among the revellers who went along to the bash, which apparently culminated in both Paris and Stavros jumping into the pool fully clothed.
The pair first met in Hollywood's fashionable Spider Club last year. At the time he was dating actress Mary-Kate Olsen, while Paris, 25, had just split from wealthy fiancé Paris Latsis.
