The play was called Fool For Love so it wasn't surprising the atmosphere at an after show bash for the cast was a little giddy. Party guest Christian Slater was pictured puckering up with his One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest co-star Alex Kingston.

Former ER actress Alex and the True Romance star have got on like a house on fire since teaming up for the drama. On Wednesday the pair went along to welcome Christian's Hollywood pals Juliette Lewis and Martin Henderson, who've just jetted in from the US to star in the Sam Shepard revival.

Christian should be able to give his friends a few tips on winning over London's theatre-going public. After his first performance as the celebrated asylum inmate the actor received a standing ovation and rave reviews.

Meanwhile Natural Born Killers actress Juliette had apparently been thinking seriously about giving up acting for life as a rock chick with her band Juliette And The Licks. But the 32-year-old performer couldn't resist the offer of appearing in the West End play, even though she hadn't been on stage since her school production of Hansel And Gretel."I just couldn't say no," declared Juliette. "The material is so provocative and visceral that I was really excited to do it."

In between all the thespian activity, the actress/singer is planning to take her brand of punk rock to Hyde Park, where her group is to support Foo Fighters and Motorhead in concert.
