It's been a hectic week for fashionistas on both sides of the Atlantic, with a series of big names turning out for promotional events as far afield as London, New York and Barcelona. Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan led the charge in the Big Apple, both setting flashbulbs blazing as they rolled up to separate parties in the heart of the city.
The Mean Girls star was on playful form when she made her entrance at the Chinatown Brasserie in a floaty halterneck number. No sooner had the waiting press pack trained their lenses on the ubiquitous 19-year-old than she whipped a camera from her bag and started snapping away herself.
And although Lindsay managed to cause quite a stir on her way into the bash, it was Calvin Klein maestro Francisco Costa who garnered most attention inside, as the event was staged to celebrate his winning the Womenswear Designer Of The Year award. Across town at Le Cirque, meanwhile, it was hotel heiress Paris Hilton who was creating a buzz as she took centre stage at the launch of her new fragrance.
Eva Herzigova likewise turned heads when she rolled up to the opening of a new Chopard store in the Spanish city of Barcelona. The statuesque beauty, who is the face of the upmarket jewellery firm, made an elegant style statement in layered grey chiffon.
Back in London, Welsh design guru Julien Macdonald - the man who has been dubbed the "enfant terrible" of British fashion - showed his talents were not limited to expensive frocks when he presented a new range of wallpaper for interiors company Graham & Brown.
