England footie ace Steven Gerrard is famous for leading lightning-fast attacks on the opposition's goal. The 26-year-old was obviously content to take things at a rather more gentle pace when he was photographed out and about with fiancée Alex Curran and their little girl Lilly Ella, though.
The family was snapped enjoying some quality time together in the German town of Baden Baden, where the squad have been staying for the World Cup. Steven held his two-year-old daughter tenderly in his arms as they strolled through the sun-kissed streets of the picturesque town.
Alex, meanwhile, was looking typically stylish in a cropped-leg olive jumpsuit. The England team's much-talked-about wives and girlfriends, who also include Coleen McLoughlin, Elen Rives and, of course, Victoria Beckham, have managed to attract just as much attention in Germany as the players themselves.
Steven's team-mate Joe Cole says they need to have their loved ones close by if they're going to do their country proud, though. "You need to get a bit of normality," explained the Chelsea star, who is going out with glamorous fitness expert Carly Zucker. "To give us a little break when we can go and see the family - just to talk about things you can't talk about with the other lads, like who's looking after the dogs - is great. It just gets your mind off the football for a bit. That's very important."
