With just a few days left to go before their wedding, Ashley Cole and Cheryl Tweedy might be forgiven for getting a little carried away. And there was nothing understated about the glamorous couple's appearance when they appeared on TV to launch a new National Lottery game this week.
The Girls Aloud singer made the most of her enviable pins in a stunning Roberto Cavalli mini-dress, while her hunky fiancé was likewise dressed to impress in a white suit and open shirt. They agreed to take part in the jokey Seventies-style shoot, which also featured a dazzling white Rolls-Royce convertible, to promote the new Dream Number game.
No doubt the loved-up pair will opt for rather more elegant attire when they make their vows at the weekend. Britain's fashionistas are eager to see what Cheryl has chosen to wear for her walk down the aisle at Berkshire's Highclere Castle, especially as the chanteuse has been receiving advice from one of the UK's most stylish women.
The diminutive star has revealed she became friends with Victoria Beckham during the World Cup in Germany. "We didn’t shut up - it was 'wedding this' and 'wedding that'," confessed the 23-year-old. "She was like, 'your wedding dress - it's got to be amazing'. I've seen some fabulous ones."
