Two Canadian beauties stepped out in stylish summer looks at star-studded events on both sides of the Atlantic this week.
In Italy, X-Men: The Last Stand star Anna Paquin took a monochrome approach to beating the heat, dropping by the Giffoni film festival in a cool black-and-white day dress. The elegant young star’s sophisticated new look shows how her sense of style — and her wardrobe — has flourished since the days when she joked: "If I don't do laundry today, I'm going to have to buy new clothes tomorrow."
The Oscar winner will next be seen on our screens opposite Matt Damon in the New York City-set flick Margaret.Meanwhile, blonde bombshell Victoria Pratt, star of Xena: Warrior Princess and the new ABC TV pilot Day Break, chose a sultry, cut-out affair for her stroll down the red carpet in California on Wednesday.
The gorgeous 35-year-old, who has just finished shooting the film What Love Is in LA with Cuba Gooding Jr and Anne Heche, was looking fabulous as she stepped out to a TV party in Pasadena in a form-fitting gown in one of this season's key eveningwear colours – aquamarine.
