Singer Bryan Adams proved he's much more than just a talented musician as he showcased two facets of his creative nature this week in Rome.
In addition to taking to the stage for one of the city's largest free open-air concerts, the singer was also displaying his renowned photographic skills with an impressive exhibition. Hundreds of thousands of cheering fans turned out for the annual summer event, which is hosted on a giant 26-metre-long stage and broadcast on giant screens throughout the venue. And the singer-songwriter got the Italian audience rocking with a varied set which combined classic Eighties hits such as Run To You with more recent fare.
Elsewhere in the Italian capital, photos by the 46-year-old were on display in a new exhibition entitled Portfolio. He previously published two photographic books dedicated to his friend who had died of breast cancer. All proceeds from both books went to breast cancer research. And snapping is apparently much more than a fundraising hobby for the singer, as he's just been commissioned to shoot a cosmetic campaign starring supermodel Elle Macpherson for Australian beauty brand ModelCo.
