Celebrity divorces are known for being notoriously lengthy affairs, but for Gary Lineker and his ex-wife Michelle, it took just 70 seconds to finalise the details. The couple, who were childhood sweethearts and have four children together, separated earlier this year after 20 years of marriage, with Michelle moving out of their house in Sunningdale, Berkshire.
The Match Of The Day presenter's 40-year-old ex has now moved back into the marital home, a stunning £2 million mansion, as part of the super-quick divorce agreement. Neither were at the courts to hear the terms of the divorce which seems to have been settled amicably in private.
Gary, known as "football's Mr Nice Guy", did not defend his wife's petition for divorce on the grounds of unreasonable behaviour and is currently holidaying with his kids in Barbados where he owns a luxury £2.2 million Caribbean hideaway.
While his family will continue to live at their Sunningdale home, the 45-year-old TV star, known for his cheeky Walkers crisps adverts, will have to find somewhere else to call home. But with an estimated fortune of £30 million he shouldn't have any problems snapping up another property.
