Much has been made of Kylie Minogue's spectacular return to form over the last few months. And the Aussie songstress, who is currently getting her career back on track after a battle with breast cancer, managed to send her fans into a spin when she showed off some fancy footwork at a show in London this week.

The 38-year-old was among the glamorous guests in attendance for the opening night of Latin dance spectacular Brasil Brasileiro in Sadler's Wells theatre on Tuesday. No sooner had she arrived than the diminutive chanteuse, who knows a thing or two about cutting a rug, gave a display of her own samba skills.

Kylie will soon be returning to the stage herself as she resumes her Showgirl tour. And if her performance in the north London venue is anything to go by, she can't wait to get back to what she does best.

She wasn't the only famous face among the audience as 50 of Brazil's top dancers, singers and musicians strutted their stuff, though. Award-winning actress Thandie Newton was there with her five-year-old daughter Ripley, heart-throb Damian Lewis, who is currently lighting up the screen in Stormbreaker, was accompanied by his pregnant actress wife Helen McCrory.
