Paris Hilton had a spacey encounter when she gave a TV interview in Hollywood this week. The glamorous heiress, who is currently promoting her eponymous debut album, found herself sitting face to face with an astronaut when she arrived for the light-hearted tete-a-tete.
Perhaps the interviewer thought his silver space suit would be just the thing to catch her attention. The blonde bombshell, who looked rather more stylish in a tailored black skirt and matching halterneck top, seemed much more interested in the kitten sitting on his lap, though.
Heiress Paris is known for her own feline qualities, especially in Japan where toy manufacturers have transformed her into a doll called Kitty. The cuddly toy, which is being marketed along with a whole range of accessories, depicts the Simple Life star as a white cat with long blonde hair.
Back home in the United States, meanwhile, her fans are being given the opportunity to snap up a more authentic reminder of their favourite star. The svelte beauty has decided to follow in the footsteps of iconic singer Cher by auctioning off some of her home furniture on the internet.
