Life couldn't be sweeter for Halle Berry. A postergirl for looking fabulous at forty, she celebrated the big 4-0 on August 14 and has been stepping out with Canadian model Gabriel Aubrey for some time.
The X-Men star and her love were recently snapped shopping at a gift store in Los Angeles, where Halle picked out a card bearing the words: "Hip Chick". Since meeting at a Versace photo shoot last year, the loved-up pair have been practically inseparable. And hardly a week goes by without a picture of Halle and her model man hand-in-hand or sharing a loving embrace.
After two failed marriages - to musician Eric Benet and baseball player David Justice - Halle is said by friends to enjoy a more tranquil bond with the chisel-jawed Montreal-born hottie. "I have someone in my life who is putting a sparkle in my eye and he is 10 years younger," she's confessed.
And the Oscar-winner, who is the adoptive mother of Eric's daughter India, may have thoughts of moving their relationship onto another level, and parenthood once again. The gorgeous actress once told Oprah Winfrey that she hoped to be pregnant by the age of 40. "If there's no serious man in my life, whoever I'm dating at the time, I'll say: 'Hey would you like to have a baby?'", she revealed.
But despite her obvious affection for Gabriel, Halle is unlikely to take another trip up the aisle, because, the beauty says, she no longer feels the need to be someone's wife: "Marriage is over for me. Two strikes and I'm out".
