American singer Anastacia scored an massive hit when she told the world I'm Outta Love six years ago, but it would seem times have changed for the blonde bombshell. Indeed it would appear the pop diva is very much in love these days, as she is planning to wed her British minder Wayne Newton.
According to newspaper reports the chanteuse agreed to take a trip down the aisle with her statuesque beau after he got down on bended knee and said he wanted to "protect her forever".
In a story reminiscent of Whitney Houston's movie The Bodyguard, Wayne fell in love with the 38-year-old after he was employed to watch over her. The martial arts expert, who originally hails from Beckenham in Kent, provided emotional support for the singer as she battled breast cancer in 2003 and they subsequently moved in together.
As yet there is no word as to what date the glamorous couple, who currently share a mansion in Beverly Hills, will choose to make their vows.
