Charlotte Church is no stranger to the buzzing London social scene, but the natural brunette was turning heads even more than usual this week as she showed off a glamorous new redhead look.
The Crazy Chick singer unveiled the new fiery hue on Wednesday night at the plush Embassy club, where American singer Ashlee Simpson was celebrating her 22nd birthday. Charlotte, whose boyfriend Gavin Henson couldn't make it because of rugby training, dazzled fellow guests with her flaming locks and figure-hugging outfit.
Fresh-faced despite the previous evening's partying, the fun-loving 20-year-old continued to paint the town red the next day, enjoying lunch with a girlfriend at exclusive Japanese eatery Nobu.
The Welsh soprano's new hue is just the latest development in her ongoing reinvention. Since storming the classical music charts in 2001 she has gone from child singing star to pop chick and TV personality within the space of a few years. She's currently hosting her Charlotte Church Show on Channel Four in which she interviews celebrities and takes part in comedy sketches.
