Sources close to Heather Mills have denied press speculation of a romance between the anti-landmine campaigner and her personal trainer Ben Amigoni. Reports of a affair began to circulate after the 22-year-old, who has been staying at Heather's home, accompanied the former model to the United States for the second time in a month.
Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper has meanwhile reported that Sir Paul McCartney phoned the fitness expert to ask him about the nature of their relationship. The legendary musician, who split from Heather in May this year, was said to be relieved after receiving assurances they were just friends, though.
Ben has been staying at Heather's converted barn in East Sussex while he helps her recover from an operation on her leg. The two have become virtually inseparable as she has to train five times a week. And the health instructor, who recently broke up with his girlfriend of three years, has also taken on the role of bodyguard, accompanying his famous client to several public events.
In recent days 38-year-old Heather has also been drawing attention with her sartorial choices. She wore a jacket emblazoned with the words "Dedicated to the one I love" during a bicycle ride near her home on Monday, while the top she was sporting when she was spotted at Heathrow Airport a few days previously bore the words "love kills slowly".
