Press speculation that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich was about to face Britain's most expensive divorce appears to have been premature.
It has been reported that the Russian billionaire's wife Irina was consulting lawyers over her husband's friendship with brunette beauty Daria Zhukova. The pretty student has suddenly decided to cut short her studies and return to her family home in Moscow, however.
"Daria has left the country for a while," confirmed a representative from the London College of Naturopathic Medicine. "We don't know when she will be back."
The 23-year-old model's move comes in the wake of reports that Irina had engaged celebrity divorce lawyer Raymond Tooth. A partner in the law firm Sears and Tooth, Mr Tooth has earned the nickname "jaws" for his achievements in the courtroom.
A spokesman for Roman, who is the world's 11th richest man, has meanwhile rubbished suggestions that the blonde mother of five was about to begin legal proceedings. "No member of the Abramovich family has filed suit for divorce, nor have they retained the law firm of Sears Tooth," he affirmed. "Suggestions that the Abramovichs are facing serious difficulties are similarly untrue."
