Both have been sporting impressive rings on their engagement fingers but it looks like Kate Moss and Pete Doherty could soon be celebrating more than a wedding. According to her boyfriend's uncle, Kate is pregnant with the couple's first child.
The 32-year-old supermodel - who, as part of a recent £10-million deal to design for Topshop has also agreed to produce a maternity wear line - has been inseparable from her Babyshambles beau of late, joining him on the European mainland where he is on tour.
Pete's uncle revealed he received a phone call from Florence, where the couple were staying, to break the baby news at the weekend. "I have spoken to Pete twice about the baby and he has confirmed that Kate is pregnant," said Phil Michels.
"Pete said Kate had a first scan which turned out to be fine. They are both delighted and Pete sounded really excited. Now we are just waiting to hear about the wedding," he added.
The lovebirds have so far not confirmed either their engagement or the pregnancy, although friends say they are likely to make an announcement with weeks. Parenting won't be new to the couple, however.
Croydon-born covergirl Kate already has a daughter, Lila Grace, with her ex-partner Jefferson Hack, while Pete has a three-year-old son, Estille, by former girlfriend Lisa Moorish. He and Kate are rumoured to be planning a January wedding on the party-isle of Ibiza.
