Book launches can be sedate affairs, but not when they are by top fashion photographers with a starry following. Man-about-town Bryan Ferry and Liz Hurley were both in London on Monday, along with their partners, to celebrate Danish snapper Marc Hom's new work Portraits.
Roxy music rocker Bryan would have found plenty to talk about with covergirl Liz after his recent modelling stint for Marks & Spencer's menswear campaign. The 60-year-old was accompanied by his on-off girlfriend, 21-year-old backing singer Katie Turner, classically elegant in an emerald strapless cocktail dress.
Never one to disappoint in the fashion stakes, bride-to-be Liz wowed onlookers in a see-through lace top and black velvet trouser combo at the VIP party, which was also attended by fellow British beauty Laura Bailey.
And it wasn't just UK bookworms stepping out this week. In the Big Apple Tiffany launched its 2007 Blue Book, showcasing the jeweller's most spectacular and dramatic gemstones. Among the high-profile guests helping mark the occasion were Hollywood veteran Dustin Hoffman and legendary crooner Tony Bennett. The pair were mingling with of host of Tinseltown's bright young things, including Mira Sorvino and Mission: Impossible III actress Keri Russell.
